We had originally made reservations at another campground but were not comfortable with the neighborhood. We instead changed our plans and located this campground which is only a few miles from Sea World and in a much more desirable location, close to restaurants and shopping. The sites are a bit close together and there were a lot of empty sites during our weeknight stay but it was quiet and very nice.

We stored our RV here over the summer while we returned home for a few months during our cross country road trip. We were very nervous to leave our beloved rig unattended thousands of miles from home but all was well when we returned. Stored the rig on a regular site in the back of the park. We stayed here for 1 night upon our return and all was well with the stay. Nice clean park with beautiful pool. Level cement pads. Close to the strip and the airport. We would stay here again.

This is a fairly new RV park that opened in 2006. The restrooms/showers were very nice and clean and the sites were nice and level. The sites were paved and the people were friendly. There is a pool available for use at the hotel next door but we didn't utilize it so cannot comment. We booked the Railway special which included roundtrip tickets on the train to the Grand Canyon so I am unsure if there was a charge for the campground as the price we paid seems to be in line with what we would have paid for the train tickets with perhaps a nominal additional nightly fee of $10 or less. This is really a parking lot with paved RV spaces so it wouldn't be a good fit for a long term stay. It's within walking distance of Route 66 for groceries and food but we were not able to find any really good food in town, it's all about the experience I guess.

We didn't know what to expect when we first made our reservations but when we arrived we were pleasantly surprised. Our site had a wonderful ocean view and we were within walking distance to food. We liked the place so much we decided to stay an extra night and spent a day in Malibu.

We stayed here over the Memorial Day weekend with one child. We made the reservations last Monday or relatively short notice. The grounds are clean and nice especially in the newer section up by Ashley Pond. The site we were on was all gravel with no grass but there were other sites that were grassy and shaded. There is great variety of sites depending on what you want so be sure to specify what you are looking for when you make reservations. There were many open sites even over the holiday weekend this year. They are making more and more sites on the property with a growth project that has been underway for over a year. The restrooms are clean but need updating so in our opinion not up to expectation when you take the rest of the park into context. The park is nicely located near the beaches, just a couple of miles and The City of South Portland Maine. There is a large Mall (The Maine Mall), New Super Walmart (Opened three weeks ago, New Cabelas Store and all other services within 5 miles. Seafood dining is abundant in the immediate area. Overall a good stay, however for us the pricing is way too high and leaves us feeing that we will never again return to this park on a weekend when they are not offering a special package price. We paid $251.00 for three days stay. 5 Star hotels in Vegas are going for much less currently in this economy.

Very Nice Campground. The restrooms and showers were the cleanest we have ever seen. When you actually look forward to your next hot shower that is about the best you ask for. This is one of the most important things you can get right in our opinion. Our site was not the best in the park and seemed to be sort of be a overflow site that was all gravel with no grass on the perimeter of the park with the hookups on the wrong side of the rig for what ever reason. There were many other great sites and after we were set up it really did not bother us. The pools were very nice and there is an indoor pool that made it great with any cold weather. The staff was very friendly and always engaging. The dump station was nicely done all in concrete with gloves and a high pressure hose. We would however like to see more full hookup sites with sewer and cable which were not available for our visit. We will visit this campground again.

We had a great stay at this park even though there are no services available. The sites were large and grassy, it was quiet and very clean. There is easy access to Lake Champlain and the staff was very friendly. Kids may have a hard time camping here as there are no activities or amenities to occupy them. If you're looking for a park to get away from it all, definitely check out Grand Isle State Park!

We only stayed here for the night, not extended stay. It's a smaller campground a short drive from the ocean. We liked the fact that it was very neat, clean and had level cement pads.

We stayed here with the kids off season. The kids enjoyed the horses and jumping pillow and the office/lounge area is very comfortable and inviting and the people are friendly. However, we struggled with the shower facilities as we found them not as updated or as clean as we would have expected given the rest of the park. The water was not very hot and the showerheads are reminiscent of a bad hotel room. There was another bathhouse but it was not open during our visit.

We stayed here in late February with the kids. Showers and restrooms were very clean, water was hot and people friendly. Very convenient location and we opted for this park instead of the other nearby parks after comparing amenities of the season (most campground activities and amenities such as pool are inactive during the off-season). We would definitely stay in this park again!

We found this park from the highway while travelling south after being delayed in a snowstorm. We checked in after hours but we were pleasantly surprised. We drove onto the site and was immediately level. The showers and laundry were very clean and warm (essential for the cold weather of the season). We were very happy with our stay, albeit short, and would definitely stay there again if we find ourselves travelling through the area.
